What is the Red Ribbon?
Presented by the Fort Erie Arts Council, this annual signature event celebrates our exciting arts community. It’s a fantastic showcase of visual artists from the Greater Niagara Region, the Greater Toronto Area and Western New York.
Red Ribbon is an art exhibition and sale, planned and executed by dedicated volunteers. 2020 marked our 16th annual Fall event and each year we strive to continue to satisfy all the senses through art, music, food, drink and a welcoming touch.
As a registered charitable non-profit organization, the Red Ribbon Art Exhibition is our main fundraiser of the year. All revenue from this event will help to sustain our organization as well as provide access to arts and culture to all members of the community.
Last year more than 45 artists participated in our 1-day event with more than 300 visitors. This year we anticipate another full show with returning artist as well as new artists to create another vibrant and exciting event.
We consider the Red Ribbon Event as our “Gift to the Community” and would not be successful without the support, sponsorship and volunteered efforts of our local community.
