Crystal Beach Art Festival Promises Something for Everyone

 

   Waterfront Park in Crystal Beach is the place to be on Sunday, June 28^th, between 11 am and 5 pm for the 5^th Annual Crystal Beach Art Festival, sponsored by the Arts Council of Fort Erie.

     This family-friendly event has grown each year and now showcases artists from  southwestern Ontario and Western New York whose works range from watercolours, acrylics and photography to sculpture, glass art and much more.  The variety of styles and mediums ensures that there will be something for every taste at this exciting venue.

     In addition to the visual art, there will be live music performed on stage throughout the day.  Kids can get their creative juices flowing by joining our supervised craft table where they will make something of their own to take home. No need to go hungry, as food will also be available for purchase, including a healthy snack.

     The Arts Council of Fort Erie encourages diverse artistic endeavours throughout the Greater Fort Erie community.  Through the development of a rich and sustainable environment for the arts and culture, it promotes artistic excellence and provides opportunities for arts presentations in the community.  It currently operates an art gallery featuring artwork by local visual artists at 238 Ridge Road N, Ridgeway ON.

 

 

The Fort Erie Arts Council is sponsoring its 5th annual outdoor Art Festival at Crystal Beach on Sunday June 28, 2009. This one-day exhibition will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

The Art Festival will be held in the beautiful Waterfront Park on the edge of Lake Erie in Crystal Beach.
